At Villa Handmade Tiles we design and develop our own design tiles inspired by the Danish design classics. The marble- cement tiles in the two-layer craft technique created in the middle of 1800, has at Villa its own Nordic design line. The colours created by Villa Handmade Tiles suit the light of the northern countries and coincide with the old technique in an eclectic way as an essential foundation for the Danish design classics. The design tiles made by Villa Handmade Tiles reflect the Danish design classics, the northern light as well as the Nordic lifestyle at its core.
The tile collection of Danish design classics include redesigns for tiles of several renown patterns from former times up to Georg Jensen and the Danish modern designers and architects such as Verner Panton, Kaare Klint and Nanna Ditzel.
The tile collection of Danish design classics is especially designed for the larger tile size of 30 x 30 cm, which allows the design tiles to exhibit the Danish design classics at their very best.
